"Chaos Theory is like playing Chutes & Ladders." -Dr. Ian Malcolm

That's what they call their IT guy.

RIP Khal Keegan Michael-Key. Now who will play the frustrated straight man in the Pythonesque Dothraki conversations?

That sounds more like Charlie Kelly's The Prince (I guess if he wrote it, it would be Th Prnz or some such).

My memory might be spotty, but the way the flames spread along the floor I remember thinking there must have been some kind of oil or flammable liquid poured along it. EDIT: Or, that was the oil from the braziers themselves, and I'm a moron.

Same here. This feels like one of those "This show sucks compared to the books, those characters acted totally in character but it was still a change so it's bad!" moments.

…eh? They cut the entire "primary plot" I'm referring to, they've killed off two of the other main characters in that plot, and none of the rest seem to have gotten enough screen time to move beyond a guest role.

Yep, totally. It wasn't an accident that he pulled her away the first couple of times she started to reach for the dagger, either.

I think it's exactly the kind of scene where nudity does convey how much poise and power she has now, in front of a crowd like that. It's the thematic opposite of Cersei's Walk of Shame.

The TV show has practical limitations on the amount of world-building it can do (whereas the books effectively don't at all).

Yeah, the primary plot for Dorne in the books so far has been a red herring, and the television show has some practical limitations on just how many new characters it can introduce and new stories it can start, which Martin doesn't.

legit LOL

Thank God I'm not alone, because my mind immediately went there.

I'm already going to be looking on Arrested Westeros for the "T-Bone, did you burn down the banana stand?" and "But where did the lighter fluid come from?" quotes.

Yep. I enjoyed, in her brief screen time, Olenna's "That can't happen. That will not happen." as well.

Yeah, certainly. Jon's been at the Wall ever since.

Except the weasel.

This episode was really the "Women Be Commanding" episode, huh? We got Dany, Sansa, Cersei, Margaery, and Asha Yara all taking charge.
