Wow, that is, uh, an unexpected visual.

Glad I'm not the only one who put it together. It was a bit distracting.

Damn it, why'd they cancel Benched?

That is not what I thought the "busting" in your user name meant.

I didn't realize she wasn't anymore. What happened?

I am not ALLOWED to eat the skins, Deandra! I am not ALLOWED!

Dennis is asshole. Why Charlie hate?

Kilmisterium is a pretty dope name for a metal, in my opinion.

I remembered the first president took office in 1789, so I went with George H.W. Bush. Which was also wrong.

The Curtis Mathes store in my hometown used to rent VHS tapes and video games as well.

Oh, man, I lost it with the Irish boxer bleeding before the match even started, and the announcer covering for him. One of my favorite recent gags.

Your view on that has nothing to do with the fact that this site's advance review— the one before the season even aired— gave it a C-, basically by the logic of "I wanted another Southern gothic mystery, and this is set in California! Yeah, Grandma Carol describing dating to Dev was amazing.

Honestly, that's not that dissimilar to me. I just kinda petered out while watching season 4 because it felt increasingly exhausting.

I've been with my now-wife for over six years now, and she's definitely had stories like this (some of them since we've been together). Honestly I have to give her all the credit for making me aware of the degree and ubiquity of harassment.

Even if your "nice guy" friend wasn't this creepy, at best he was probably someone who pretended to be women's friend in hopes they would eventually sleep with them somehow, and then got mad when they slept with guys who would actually show sexual interest in them.

I loved how it started as a joke that Arnold's professed negotiation expertise was total BS, but then proceeded into Rachel actually using his behavior to get the better deal on the couch. Great Job, Rachel!

Martin Starr's characters on Silicon Valley and Party Down are very little alike, and neither are like his character on Freaks and Geeks, either. The only thing you can say they all have in common is that an outsider might label each one a geek.

My other issue is with the conflict between Dev and Rachel. The show has already established that Dev isn't as nice as (presumably) Ansari is in real life but it stretched the elastic quite a bit when it had him take the side of the man who had him fired over his relatively new girlfriend.

For example, I'd disagree with the reviewer that the cold open was an effective use of showing rather than telling. Mainly, this is because the musical cues were so over the top that I felt very much like I was being told what was going on. Even worse, it lessened the impact of what was a pretty funny joke about
