That Homer quote is applicable to so many situations.

Pfft, you say "The leading presidential candidate of one of the country's two major parties publicized a meme based on phony statistics and that was crafted by a Neo-Nazi website" like it's a bad thing!

It's close for me— almost certainly the most forgettable of the season, and one of the worst ("Dumbbell Indemnity" might be worse). The one thing that keeps it from definitely being the most forgettable of the decade is that "The Old Man and the Lisa" and "The Old Man and the C Student" are so mediocre and lazily

They're worse than war widows!

It never ceases to amaze me that the people who stay in the same small town their entire lives, who rarely if ever interact with anyone who isn't in the exact same demographic as them, and basically haven't experienced anything new in the last 20-30 years, think it's those crazy kids who "live in cities" and "interact

I think we've reached the stage where the writers no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt. Ian Maxtone-Graham famously said he had never seen The Simpsons before he became a staff writer.

Girls is pretty much the opposite of this movie.

I enjoy seeing just how the fargo team inserts the references into the story.

I'm still going with "trust", given that the plan was to have two complete strangers roll up to motorists stuck in traffic and ask if they wanted to hand over their car keys and take a ride on the back of a motorcycle.

Definitely leave that appropriate typo in.

The game failed because Challenger Pac-Man isn't even where the real eating action is in that photo.

Clearly, and to Joshua's disappointment, that was not a low-cal calzone.

What heart?

I'd like to see a reviewer try that. Or a Christmas Story-style "A plus, plus, plus, plus, plus, plus!"

I'm certain you could have stopped after "threesome" and it's still accurate.

Hmm. The best way I can respond to that is— when the nods are subtle, like, say, the halls of the hotel Mike is holed up in looking similar to Barton Fink, or when someone makes a comment like Hank's "If I'm wrong… I'll cut off my toe," I can appreciate the texture they add. Sometimes they go too far and get clunky.

I'm fine. I don't know why you're wasting your time like this.

So you're just gonna sit here and troll me all day, is that it? I already know you're an asshole, so what else are you trying to prove?

That one scene was one long and significant scene that was supposed to be important and impactful. And it wasn't just a homage; it was practically a complete re-staging of the original. The depth to which it adhered to the similar scene in Miller's Crossing ruined the impact for me, because it felt like a remake out

Oh, good one. You get called out for personal attacks and you respond with… further personal attacks.
