The Todd VanDerWerff "Personal investment in the show's success" special.

THAT'S Zac Efron? I thought it was Chris Lowell's little brother.

Oh man, where is that? I gotta find that!

Hard to think of something more ZMF than this section:

Also, now that I think about it, another thing people might find confusing is the relative lack of exposition— the backstory is there and fully fleshed out, but they don't stop to explain it at all; they just trust the viewer to pick it up.

I found the Tweet I was talking about. Sure, I elided Max, Nux, and the actual battles on the Fury Road, but still:

I didn't have problems with Yahoo Screen in Firefox, but it's even worse on Roku.

Whatever, dude. Read the words you wrote and look in the mirror.

At least they didn't take a page from Blue Velvet and call it "Pussy Heaven."

Cul-de-Sad

This reminds me that I saw someone on Twitter complain the plot was too complicated. So I responded by trying to fit the entire plot into a tweet, and I still had like 50 characters left to spare.

I was surprised Pure Drivel didn't get a mention; I remember having to stop at points, I was laughing so hard.

Evidently, there is a "correct" chronological viewing order for all the episodes combined, as events in one series affect events in the other:

The only thing that's clear after reading this whole discussion is that you react absurdly out-of-proportion to the slightest criticism of Quentin Tarantino.

It reminds me of how Andy Daly said that he imagined Forrest MacNeil had been fired from his movie reviewing job because he suffered from narcolepsy.

I haven't seen Harmontown, so I just assumed everyone was right when they said that.

Wow, I had no idea he'd been so prolific. Fountains of Wayne put out some fantastic pop albums early on, so I'm not surprised.

Was that not Harmon's Ice-T? Ice-T wasn't listed in the credits.

I'm hoping someday we'll hear "cock *bleep*" on television.

So he's addicted to endangering his grandson? Like when someone plays too many scratchy lotteries?
