Oh man. The days when the depression fog clears out are the best days. May you have many more of them!

My depression peaked yesterday morning so I took a mental health day to avoid quitting outright. No push back, slept another four hours, got my meds adjusted, played some Stardew Valley, and then I was glued to Facebook as these sort of results were coming in.

People need to learn what kind of recipes are appropriate for entertaining and how to stop at a certain step and finish it just before the guests arrive. That whole “Catholics aren’t Christians” idiocy seems to be relatively new for Americans, or at least I never encountered it when I was younger — I wonder what has prompted it to surge in the last decade or so? Was it always there and I just had relatively enlightened friends?

It’s true that the cost of getting any sort of education can be astronomical but these workers are often refusing government subsidized education or vocational training and education offered by the high schools they dropped out of. That would only make sense if they could get their old jobs back right now, this minute.
