Well, for one, when you asked "And which of the individuals in the existing list are sufficiently poetic for your cultured tastes," suggesting incredulity that this list contains artists with poetic abilities outside of your little window.

The principal reason Frontalot isn't on this list is because that music and its fanbase is a thing entirely apart from hip hop. You are demonstrating this phenomenon yourself with your championing of him and his peers and your clear disdain for actual hip hop.
