Scotland here, and I totally agree.

because when you buy it from the PSN store it downloads onto your PS3 and plays the game code on the PS3 just like playing it off a disc, it is not streamed from being played elsewhere.
yeah probably true. I wonder how long it took uncharted games to drop, might give an idea.
Yeah but the code would still have to be changed either way. Another option is through the Gaikai streaming thing Sony bought I suppose.. in that case the PS4 would just be receiving a video feed of the gameplay.
main problem here though is the huge difference in the underlying hardware between these consoles. Probably to the extent that there would have to be some major recoding I'd imagine. Since naughty dog seem to have been good at getting the most out of the cell processor I think their code must be pretty specialised.
Really want to play this but I think I'm gonna wait till a price drop.
I am magic!
Yeah, by no means do I think the controller is perfect. I just wondered how you position your thumbs on the sticks. Do you use the ball of your thumb?
Well I was using my ps3 controller with motioninjoy as I play better with that controller. However I switched to using a wired 360 controller as it bugged me that the button prompts in games were for the xbox, and it was just a little bit simpler: plug n play (not that using motioninjoy was difficult).
It was also in the O2 sports advert
This is kinda off topic but was spurred by the picture of Age of Empires in the article. I loved the setting and units etc of the first AoE but just find it too clunky to really go back and play properly (I play AoK regularly). That pathfinding... arrghh.
Pretty much my view too. Exclusives may drag me in, but probably (maybe(perhaps)) not until the first hardware revision.
That vg248QE looks really nice. Unfortunately it seems to be rather overpriced here in the UK.
Womens football?!?
They're pretty damn cool, however if my girlfriend ever saw one of these she would probably have some kind of mental breakdown.
Thanks for the reply. That's the sort of random shit I like to know!
In the US are you actually allowed to turn right even if the lights are at red? I'm from the UK and here that would be the same as going left at red.
Off-topic but with this new site update has Kotaku core been ditched? I just happened to actually go to the homepage for once and found that this review was out, but wasn't on core...
Why "MUST" they use SLI titans (that very very few of their readers will be running) or even a 680? Going from a 660ti to a 680 isn't going to change anything about the gameplay, and that's usually the most important thing to be reviewing. If anything I would say its better to run it on a mid-range card, cause if it…
