I finally saw one in person. It’s definitely better looking in the real world.

I can’t argue that there isn’t a LOT going on, but looking at it doesn’t hurt me like some cars (coughnewPriuscough).

This reminds me of Charlie’s Angels TV show in 1977 when they blew up a classic Mustang to keep from blowing up Kelly Garrett’s (Jacelyn Smith) yellow Mustang II Ghia.

motorbike sunset thread are go!

Counterpoint:

when the rotary can a week without blowing up then people will keep it in the car. my friend went through 4 rotaries before he ls swapped. one didnt make it 500 miles before blowing up.

Here is a vehicle that will make 5000 horsepower all day long. Sadly it is “track only”.

A Miata makes more than that.

This track is stupid and the smog is awful.

I was about to say “lol new cars are bloated”, then I look back to old times where narrower F3 cars blocked the entire road and thought, in Dunkey’s voice: “this race sucks”.

I’d have to disagree... I feel like designers are constantly trying to do too much... folds and creases and such. Keep it simple. I think this is one of the best looking sedans on the market.

I’ll say the feedback is improved from the 8th gen Civic’s I’ve been autocrossing the last couple of years but still fairly disconnected from what I cut my teeth on (CRX’s). The Type R definitely didn’t have any torque steer, and pretty well just did what it was told.

It was a well balanced exterior design.

For reasons I can’t explain the first gen TSX gave me the warm and fuzzy’s?

Type R used to have he form follows function philosophy and did only what was necessary.

Vomit inducing isn’t exactly a step above boring.

Awful design is just as bad as boring design.

Yeah, those engines were so unreliable they used them in motorhomes forever. Old school big Mopars are rock solid and so are the 727 transmissions.

The 383 is a beast and about the antithesis of unreliable garbage (trust... I tried my best and failed to destroy one in high school). As for the rest of it? Yep, pretty much. Really damn fine looking garbage though. I’d rewire it and burnout off into the sunset at about 10mpg...
