Honestly don’t get the hate for those headlights.

As much as I hate to disagree with the BRRRT...those shells wouldn’t do diddly squat to actually punch through. They may be a mission kill, but an A-10 won’t do much to destroy any modern MBT. Now, the big missiles like Maverick and more recent additions...no sweat.

With the 360 and especially the 355 there’s a solid argument for the Mondial with respect to running costs, as well as insurance (the Mondial is eligible for classic car coverage). And some people will simply prefer a more vintage feel to their Ferrari, which these ‘80s cars are delivering.

Ha, yeah. He hits 6th gear and the car is like, um, nope, dats it.

Good god man, that was a great looking lap.

Imagine how big of a squid you’d have to be to think 1) kicking a moving car at highway speed is a smart move.

You and I know that, but it’s silly how many people still think American cars are engineered poorly and they cite idiotic things like specific displacement as evidence. You’d think making a car that’s just as fast as an exotic for a fraction of the cost would be the definition of good engineering, but nope. Big engine

Yeah all the reviews say that the Golf R really comes alive only with the stick shift. Until there is a number that communicates a car’s handling ability, or its ‘fun to drive’ quotient, you won’t be able to properly convey just how trivial their 0-60 objections are.

Yup. Basically the people who never actually buy the car care the most.

Dick waving braggarts care. Also the “one upper teenager who doesn’t have a car” bench racer cares. Two two segments comprise of a lot of people. They also read Da Forums Bro.

I’d seen that before, but just rewatched it. Love that video. I straight up hated the Mondial when I was little, because like most kids of my generation, I loved the 308, and the Mondial looked like a 308 viewed through a funhouse mirror or like the ugly sibling (pick your metaphor). But this video, which I watched

So it’s only 4 seconds a lap slower than a new GT3, which set its lap using a DCT? That means apples-to-apples, the ZL1 1LE is every bit as fast as a brand new GT3, but for $70k. Can we finally put the “American performance cars suck” thing to bed now? Probably not unfortunately. Can’t wait to see people saying they

I don’t really know why people care so much. 95% of drivers will never street race or take the car to a track where they can push the car hard enough to see the benefits of a dual clutch anyways. Yeah, dual clutch is faster, but so what?

I’m a fan!

“I wanted to give him a chance. He seemed like a real winner, but this has gone too far.” - At least one of my uncles.

People like to give the Mondial a hard time, but they still look fantastic when you see them on the road.

Plot twist: everyone who pre-ordered Forza Motorsport 7 Ultimate edition got a GT2 RS without knowing.

Really, they’re all Accord Coupes in the end.
