As in they dont change size?

No it’s not. Just remember that we could have had the better looking AND more practical/convenient 5-series wagon instead of this piece of crap.

did you turn off all the assists? Use simulation steering mode? Using a controller is inherently unrealistic, but they did a pretty good job of offering two different steering modes with it. I appreciate the effort.

This should have been lumped in with the Roadmaster/Caprice. They’re the same damn car.

Can’t really agree on this one. Rain on the windshield looks far, far better on Forza 6 than Driveclub, and the puddles on Forza 6 put it above Driveclub.

Cadillac cts v wagon would like a word with you....

Yeah, for fuck’s sake. They need to stop letting the Jezebel editors choose the photos.

Unless you use a wheel it would be hard to give me an impression of the physics that would be of relevance, i go back to the controller once in a blue moon on GT and it’s if i just handed it to my grandfather and asked him to do a lap. In other words the two interfaces barely compare although you can attribute the

Agreed. Had an F-150 merge onto the highway beside me the other day - he had his turn signal on while he was tapping his brakes. For more than a second, I wasn’t sure if he had his hazards on, he wanted to change lanes (the onramp continued into its own lane), or his electrical system was having a seizure...

Huh, I feel the exact opposite. I can’t stand reading a hapless game reviewer try and tiptoe his or her way around the sim racing scene. “well these physics SEEM pretty realistic. I think. I’m told. Uhm. There are parts that you can add to your car. They improve the car. They seem pretty real.”

Man, I wish devs were better about recognizing the flow of a proper sim racing game.

I just love it because it makes for perfect hot lapping. Short laps so if you screw up it isnt an eternity wait before you try again, a technical balance of corners, and just wide enough for some passing to happen but no so wide that you can just stroll around a slower car. That requires skill and strategy to plan

Yeah I really hope they do a track DLC pack. Fujimo Kaido might be the best made up track to ever go in a video game. Really opened up the tarmac stage WRC driver or Japanese rebel drifter fantasies for me.

Tsukuba is hands-down my favorite track (thanks to Best Motoring..)

So build a 301 car to compete in 300-400 class. Everyone is upgraded to the best in class because in racing thats how it mostly is. I dont want to be racing a car thats 20 seconds a lap slower than me.

no Tsukuba, Fuji, Motegi, or Suzuka? What in the world....oh and no Maple Valley?!

GT is the type of game that would make you fill out insurance forms in the game and wait three days for your car to be available just for the sake of realism over fun.

Now playing

And here’s a video I forgot I took of its first revs. This was before dyno tuning had taken place; we’d only got it tuned well enough to move down the street and drive itself onto the dolly.

My parents bought a new 1986 Renault, despite the fact that the Encore they test-drove broke down on the test drive. It was a great car.. when it ran. It would stall randomly, the computer had to be replaced multiple times, ton of electrical issues.
