Certainly possible. Likely higher-flow injectors installed, with a bunch of boost from the stock 16G turbo. That kind of setup can support 400hp while still looking “stock”.

It doesn’t actually shorten the distance air must travel, because once the compressed air leaves the turbos, it still must travel through the various intercooler pipes and coolers, just as it would on a conventional setup.

When they put the turbos in the “V” of the engine, they aren’t making them part of the intake. The intake is moved to the outside of the V, opposite of normal.
