Just woke up to see one of my cars on the front page...that doesn’t happen every day.
I hate that they decided to go with arcadey physics with Horizon, and not just use Forza Motorsport’s engine. I understand why they did (sorta), but it’s just so frustrating.
That’s pretty much why I have an X1. I bought it solely to play Forza, and GTA V with friends online. I’m PC otherwise (yet I seem to only play 10-year old games on my custom-built rig).
Well, that’s not an EF.
I’m a huge fan of James May, but it was a little disappointing to hear him use the word ‘wastegate’ instead of the correct ‘blow-off/bypass valve’. So many journalists seem to make this mistake, the majority it seems.
Must have been a base engine.
It’s all about tire choice, man.
I do prefer the FDs with rotaries (at least more than the FB and FC). They look so much more “Japanese” than the first two gens, at least in my opinion. The FB and FC seem to have a mix of muscle car and Porsche in their styling.
Hmm. I don’t think I am on RX7Club (at least I’m not an active member)...definitely haven’t had this conversation before, as these are pretty much the first pics I’ve posted online, besides a few posted some to norotors.com.
This image is so hilarious to me.
To add to my other post, this is also my first V8 and my first carbureted vehicle (besides my Suzuki FA50).
Thanks man!
I’m running a Gen II SBC (LT1) with a carburetor/HEI distributor conversion that eliminates the Optispark.
If it makes you feel any better, when I bought the car, I pulled it out of a barn with the V8 longblock (and not much else) already swapped in by Billy Bob Bumfuck (everything had to be redone). I did not pull a rotary out for this build.
