I liked when she showed AT&T 3G and then layered Verizon's on top of it. I lol'd.

@maythetechbewithyou: If it helps, the chips inside new Droid's announced at CES are compatible with SV-DO. The real question is if Verizon has enabled that functionality. The good news is, nothing needs to be done at the cell site to enable this!

@FlyingAvocado: I know I have said this twice already, but Verizon has been working on SV-DO. This allows a phone call on the 1X channel as well as data on the EV-DO channel simultaneously. All that is required is the right chip. If the iPhone supports it, and if Verizon has been making that adjustment to their

@Michael Scrip: Oh dang! Where'd it go? It was the one about how Verizon has the "muscle" to handle the iPhone. I swear it was there! Lol

@Michael Scrip: Verizon has 9 million Android users. Its in this article:

Verizon is definitely THE NETWORK to be on in 2011. Love it!

Fiercewireless.com claims this puppy has LTE and is probably destined for Big Red!

@albokay: I am kinda shocked at the not-so-ridiculous pricing for the modems, so I can see them matching or coming close to Sprint's 4G fee. Last month they claimed unlimited plans are fine right now, but LTE phones could change that I guess. I would have to imagine, though, that unlimited LTE on a phone wouldn't be

I have seen pics of this phone and I still feel skeptical. Where are the 18 Verizon logo's?

Reminds me of what I saw on campus the other day...

@HashMaster9000: "Well, fair enough. Hurry up though, I gotta get home to destroy that note I left for my wife."

@nandreetta: That's not the permanent seal burned into every employee? At this point, that would be rational.

@DeathbyTechno: You may have done this, but I didn't. I thought the 3D also worked with the satellite layer on- it doesn't. Make sure you are not in satellite mode. Sounds simple, but confused me for a good 10 minutes!

They aren't push, but notifications are active. I added friends last night and got notifications in my panel when they accepted my request.

In Kentucky, we have PNC ATM's that have a metal shield covering the card reader. When its time, the shield opens up and your card is sucked in. You dont slide it in. Your card is held inside until the transaction is over, and then is pushed back out. I guess these are newer ATM's that try to prevent that from
