I’ve always felt like the guys working in comic in the 70s and 80s never get enough credit because they weren’t the first through the door like the original Marvel bullpen and they weren’t as hip as the British Invasion guys, they were the nerds stuck inbetween who advanced the art form quietly and with little fanfare.

I think Clark is about 6 months away from being in the title scene. He’s at a major disadvantage because he didn’t get a ton of time to build up name cache on the indies after being the only guy that cared about wrestling on his season of TE.
