I think gender is neurological differences in some way connected to genetics/hormones. I think similar to sexual orientation, gender is a spectrum. I think I’m really interested in future findings on the subject.

Actually not all transgender people get surgery at all. Part of what the transgender community is actually asking for is for people to recognize the difference between being transgender and getting surgery, and for people to be able to change their gender on documentation without having to have surgery.
