This is more Randian than a 300-page soliloquy.

Could happen any number of ways. Remember: BoB got disbanded when one of their leads betrayed them to the Goons.
The players of Trolls In Space seem a little nuts.
Shit like this has always made me want to really love playing EVE. But then I booted it up and saw it was ‘spreadsheets in space’ and it made me sad inside.
“Sir, It looks like the head of our legal department has been giving out his office phone to random fuckwits on gaming social forums.”
Rage is a C6 Wormhole if I remember correctly...
That last sentence made my day.
“That number was a work number for a large global bank where I’m International Legal Council,” HeWhoShallNotBe Named claimed. “The bank has now turned it over to the federal authorities to investigate.”
EVE is one of those things that I actually really enjoy reading about but at this point I have zero interest in jumping in and getting involved.
I really need to get a sub and some free time because this sounds epic.
Eve is the best. And by the best, clearly the worst...
Besides, any Alpha player who joins a Corp will find that pretty much everyone else in PvP flies a similar tech 1 “cheap and effective” ship of cruiser or smaller class. I love this idea because I don’t have enough free time to spend on making a sub worth the money and yet every once in awhile I’d really love to join…
Can’t believe you had to defend calling it f2p. Just voicing in my agreement with you Mr. Fahey.
You still don’t get to fit tech II weapons or fly tech II ships, looking at the skill list. Also no real cool stuff like flying pirate faction ships or tech III ships. No battlecruisers and battleships either (the bread-and-butter of nullsec warfare). That makes whoever uses the free clones having more limited roles…
Are we all splitting hairs here because we don’t want to call EVE Online a free-to-pay game? Nearly every MMO that’s made the transition between strict subscription and free-to-play uses a similar structure—players have unlimited access to most in-game resources, areas, etc., with advanced features reserved for people…
The way EVE works is that every ship has a role, even with all these limitations you can be a threat to a paying player.
I have to respectivly disagree, there’s content behind a pay wall so it’s using the term f2p very losely. Granted I have no idea yet in how far the f2p model goes. Also serious question I would be a returning player and I could fly an orca, would I be able to play f2p or would my ship be in lockdown behind a sub wall?…
Hardship is a social glue, especially in games. Shared victories and mutual defeat, confusion, frustration— these…
It's like saying keh keh keh keh keh or something. Just like we could use hhh for ha ha ha.
it looks like this; ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
