I can’t think of many cars I’d want more. This is awesome!

The ‘best’ 90's SUV was probably a Range Rover Classic, but I wouldn’t necessarily call that the best purchase decision. Either way, I love the combination of power, comfort, and off-road ability.

I find it funny how Ford are pulling out of this sector in America. The Fiesta has been the best-selling car in the UK for a while. The whole decision inadvertently distances Ford of Europe from American Ford.

Agreed. The NA1 still isn’t a slow car, or an any less viable platform (lap times confirm this). It’s just an old car with a different sort of following.

Thanks for the new information. I did say of its major reliability faults were corrected in the post-2004 models. The rest of the horror stories I heard were about the diesels - and those don’t seem to be around in the US anyway.

If a FMR layout makes a car mid-engined, that means the Corvette has been mid-engined since the C2. In fact, nearly every pre-WWII car would be considered mid-engined if you used the same rule. The general consensus is that these cars are not mid-engined, so I think it’s a bit of a technicality to be resting on.

Out of all the cars posted, only the MR2 was conceived as a sports car from the ground up.
