I know I’m probably wrong here but...if these photographs and poems and messages were a gift to her then-husband, why would she be able to reclaim them?

Right? The fact that she followed right up with Margaret Thatcher tells me that she’s well aware of right-wing women being elected as a bad thing for a country, but that her schtick about women supporting women is more important.
The pure white elves and their (white) allies take down orcs who are not like the other races culturally or physically. I don’t think it’s much deeper than extrapolating that onto white people fighting the “greater evil” physically embodied by minority groups.
I’m guessing you know better but this is a very Hillary TM thing to say.
Don’t forget! Girl Bosses support Girl Bosses
No. We wouldn’t be wading into anything. Men have already been told they don’t have the right to be a parent. As proof, a woman doesn’t need her husband’s permission to have an abortion.
You don’t gotta hand it to them, but wow, this group threaded the needle between “Schools are teaching CRT and giving out condoms! They’re indoctrinating them to be trans and hiding it from parents!” and “Abortions are everywhere! They’re coming for your kids!”
It’s ridiculous as a property crime too because the sperm ceases to exist when it joins with the egg to become a zygote. The zygote is then the property of the pregnant person to do with it what they will.
To be clear, I do not think a fetus is a person. Some people happen to think this, wrongly, therefore we have to get on their stupid level to anticipate an counter the arguments they are making
Re: The infertile being second class citizens
I know, that’s why I said there wasn’t a corresponding law.
“fundamental right to parent” (there isn’t)
I don’t need to feel bad for 1950s housewives because I feel bad for present-day housewives whose husbands don’t feel that they should have to lift a finger to cook, clean, or child rear because they’re a “provider” and their wife is actually just laid up “eating bon bons” all day.
I’ve only glanced at the articles so I don’t know if they met in person and had physical contact (it’s more likely that they met in person).
Stop trying to make EmRa happen
I didn’t want to get to analytical about it because I might be reading too much into it . I’m not Freud but I think she’s trying to get at this from the angle that all of these hetero-woman aren’t literally tearing each other apart to get to (???)-sexual Harry. It’s new to her that fans can be devoted to their idol…
The quote makes less and less sense to me each day. The whole purpose of a concert is group solidarity and common interest.
I see what you’re saying now and we’re on the same page.
Adults can cry at concerts. That’s perfectly normal because the excitement and anxiety is heightened and you’re sharing your feelings with 100s of other people.
It’s misogynistic to suggest that I’m responsible for the comments of other internet commenters. /s
