That’s the point. Then, there were some published photos showing the camps as orderly and neat, so Americans could fool themselves into believing it wasn’t so bad. We don’t even have THAT this time.

If Australia is any lesson, no. People don’t care about human rights abuses or foreign immigrants during an election. They don’t even care about climate change. They just care about taxes and whether or not they might one day have an investment property they can use as a tax write off.
As a follow up, here’s the link to campaign contributions that one of the detention center contractors made. https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/recips.php?id=D000021940&chamber=&party=&cycle=2018&state=&sort=A
These are the same people who claim to be so worried about the “babies” that are being “murdered” by abortion. When it comes to real children. They’re fine with labeling them criminals and allowing them to be abused and neglected.
I’m sure there’s a ton of sexual abuse happening also. If they’re ignoring basic hygiene…
I read a piece in The Guardian about that, a now adult child of a nazi guard struggled to reconcile his memories of a loving father and the fact that he worked in a death camp. He felt his childhood was a lie, that his father had acted as a loving father to be able to tell himself he wasn't a bad person and was just…
Not just people who are parents. I’m really not crazy about children and have never ever wanted to have any of my own. There is no way that I could work in a facility like this and do or say nothing.
Very little was tidy about internment camps.
Call your members of Congress, tell them you demand a Congressional investigation of human rights abuses at these concentration camps. People keep telling me that they don’t need to call their member of Congress because they’re already liberal/progressive. Yes, you do. They need to know this is a priority, they need…
I’m an atheist, I generally don’t ascribe to any belief in hell, but I am cultivating a very fine desire for one. I know that holding people who reproduced to a higher level of empathy and humanity is a losing proposition, but I fucking agree with every word of your sentiment. People who say they love their child…
I’ve read some other commenter make this suggestion before and I think it is a good idea: Trump loves putting his name on everything — so let’s do just that. These border camps should be rebranded as “Trumpcamps” — forever linking him to this act of abominable cruelty.
Donate to @RAICESTEXAS. Donate to the ACLU. They’re doing as much of the legal and humanitarian stuff as they possibly can.
does anyone know what we are supposed to do here? how can i help? what do i do?
My anger is being smothered by my sense of helplessness.
We gotta start calling these people what they are: child-killers. They would rather have a dead child than one who has autism or some other (almost certainly fictional) “vaccine injury”.
When breath of the wild was teased early on (years before we knew it was breath of the wild) with a short cinematic like this, people noticed how androgynous link looked in that footage and asked if the Link in the game was a woman or it was supposed to be ambiguous, and if I remember right Aonuma set the record…
Props for trying, Jason!
Let me play as both. Two story lines, converging at certain points. That would be awesome.
Other open-world games tend to be more about potential than they are about delivery. The promise of what you’ll find is more exciting than what you actually find. The promise that you can do anything is more exciting than what you can actually do. Breath of the Wild, on the other hand, has both potential and delivery.…
