You can’t get bad rankings if you don’t get ranked.
You can’t get bad rankings if you don’t get ranked.
Consumer Reports data is the worst available. They use their subscriber base for their results and it’s a predicted score where everything is weighed evenly. So, an infotainment screen problem weighs the same as a transmission going out in reliability rankings. Their surveys are absolute garbage, and the results are…
“It’s also important to note that CR chose not to rank Alfa Romeo, Dodge, Fiat, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Mitsubishi and Polestar”
Of note the perennial quality powerhouses of Alfa Romeo Dodge Fiat Jaguar Land Rover Maserati Mitsubishi and Polestar were not included in the rankings.
“But since it’s M-Benz, oh, well, then it must be some German secret sauce at work here. Right?”

We love the name. We think it’s a big name. And, we’ve heard a lot of people from the nation that love the name. They think it’s an honor to have their nation’s name on a great car.
Do you think it would be cool if a company came out with a car called “The Jew?” Or that it wouldn’t be bizarre if Jeep’s next crossover was called “The Korean?”

“Which makes me wonder who 600 miles of range is really for.”
I think those comments were from an earlier version of the story, where it seemed that Townley might be the victim of a crime.
The minimal reporting that’s come out so far suggests that Townley was the aggressor here. That he burst into an apartment that was not his, potentially armed, and at least leaves an open possibility of self defense for the person who shot him.
If the police ever want to interview you for something where there’s even the remotest chance you could be a suspect, you need to lawyer up. Cops are interested in clearing cases and naming suspects for DA”s to charge, not necessarily in getting to the truth.
“and lawyered up right away”
Do any of those good cop stories involve them arresting their corrupt hick counterparts right there in public when they commit a crime against the public? That is why there are no good cops, because they never turn around stuff their buddy into the back of their own cruiser when they start shit.
Makes you wonder what else he’s helped himself to from the evidence locker…
