"They're devaluing the game in the resale market"
The ME2 DLC was crap? I missed that. The Normandy Crash Site mission was great for someone who was heavily invested in ME and was hit hard by the destruction of the ship. The Firewalker mission was a fun side quest distraction. And Zaeed was easily one of my favorite characters.
Mostly a PS3 problem is what I heard. Worked great on the 360
That's what I'm saying. I hate having to rely on reviews to decide if I want a game. Demos take all the guess work out of the equation.
That is funny but what seems even more funny to me is how much people seem to give a shit about what genre any of these games are. They're games. Are they good or bad? Did you like them or not? Genre is just a way for you to quickly describe some of the features of the game in one or two words. It baffles me that we…
When was that? I saw plenty of RPG in ME2 and there'll be even more in ME3.
In an ideal world they might be able to do that but that's not how these business decisions are made. To get that additional funding they have to show how that funding will increase sales. Making an even longer single player campaign isn't likely to impact sales much. It's very easy for a team to argue that adding…
If I had to choose between more single player content and a multiplayer feature I would have prefered the single player as well but that's not how these things work. If they hadn't added the multiplayer they wouldn't have had those resources in the first place. That being said, I think this looks like a lot of fun.
I'm way more excited after watching this trailer. I was a little skeptical when they mentioned they were adding multiplayer to ME3. The more I hear about it the better I like the idea. If the combat in ME3 is fun (I enjoyed ME2's combat and this looks better) then I could see how you might want to play more of that…
I'm not saying the kid shouldn't get in trouble at school and I'm not arguing that kids should be allowed to do it, just that people are making too big a deal of it online. I mean, if they're stalking anyone with a skirt waiting for something to show or crawling around in the classroom looking for up-skirts then yeah,…
I've having a hard time figuring out what the big deal is. Every male I knew in high school was trying to look up girl's skirts. The only difference was we didn't have cameras. I saw up plenty of skirts in my day but there wasn't any "invasion of privacy" involved, just some girls who didn't keep their legs crossed…
Obviously "best" games are going to be highly reliant on opinion and tastes are extremely varied but I feel the need to mention that if I were new to any of these systems and using these lists as a guide I would conclude that this generation was full of crappy games. I understand going for a wide selection so that you…
I have to disagree with you about the difficulty of older games. When you say "lack of resources" do you mean lack of ammo/health/etc? Because that I would agree with. But a lot of the difficulty of the games was not "due to a lack of resources or understanding of the fundamental game rules." If that were true then…
It's a shitty term but it's one people usually understand. There does need to be a term that describes that type of gamer, it's just unfortunate that this is the one that stuck
Nope, they've said it was gonna be about death since they started talking about the main character. Death was on the cover of GI a while back
Suda is definitely the right person for her to be working with. Now I'll have to seriously think about getting Lollipop Chainsaw.
How is it I have never come across your comments before? Very well put. Thank you.
I know a lot of people bitch about it but you are far from the only person who liked the Mako exploration in ME. Anytime I replay ME, even when I know it's just the lower level playthrough and that I'm just going to do it again I can't keep myself from fully exploring every world. It was definitely one of my favorite…
or the target audience depending on your point of view
Thanks for pointing that out. I'd noticed the difference in content and tone but I hadn't caught on to the timing of it. Nice to see there was a clear cause for it rather than this site just going down the drain in general. Hopefully Stephen can get things back on track.
