@BigManMalone: Before I have anything to say, a link to the decision would probably be useful. I'll look it up myself eventually of course but I'm sure others wont and it'll certainly create a better and more informed discussion.

@Gravidos: That's basically me. I bought a normal one anyway, but it hurts to play so I don't all that often. I'll be happy to sell or even give away my normal one and get an XL.

@Cakey4242564: Well we have fun with it too but I just don't see the point in playing with booze if you're not trying to get drunk or at least buzzed. You could do the same thing with water or juice or whatever. What we always say is that in beer pong, even if you lose you still win.

@raffleking: Yeah, we've got the elbow rule here too. We lighten up a little if it's a long table. You still shouldn't do it but go just a little over and we let it slide but with the short tables we'll put tape on the ground or something. People get hardcore about this stuff here. I've kicked people out for refusing

Sorry Owen, I just don't see the appeal of playing with paddles. The point of beer pong is to get drunk. Paddles draw out the process too much. Don't get me wrong, I get competitive about it but ultimately if you aren't drunk you didn't do it right. On a good night we'll have 3 or 4 winning teams quit because they're

@Hahaue: You can play with anything. I used to have them put water in half the cups, those would be my cups, and when it went in one I'd take a shot. I wouldn't recommend that to most drinkers though.

@electroshockwave: The interface works well enough if you're used to playing Bioware games on a console. If you've been a PC gamer, you'll notice the difference and it'll bug you, but the average console gamer won't have issues with it.

@Nawara_Ven: It's not so much marred by it as you're not getting the whole experience. Personally, I care less about the (relatively minor) performance differences and a good deal more about the user interface. The console version uses a series of radial menus during combat and you are locked into an over the shoulder

@Evdor: I think there is a third option in regard to analysts: They are stock analysts. That is to say, they don't know anything we don't and they don't care to understand anything about the game industry, or any industry for that matter. They, like all the people who make a living on Wall Street, only care about an

@D-K, Anarchist: To be fair, I can read about a new FF battle system or read a post release analysis by the lead designer AND look at a porn stars tits.

@Komrade Kayce: Perhaps because the PS3 version is buggy? All the reviews I've seen for the PS3 mention a lot of issues that I'm not seeing on my 360 version. PS3 was the inferior version of the game it would seem. #modernwarfare2

@PoweredByHentai: Windows, for all intents and purposes, has a monopoly. Valve does not. Most games played on the PC do not require steam. Steam does not account for most PC game purchases. The two cases aren't even remotely similar. #valve

I'm a pretty big IW fan and I'm really looking forward to this game, but if people hadn't mentioned that it comes out tomorrow I wouldn't have remembered. The game is preordered from Amazon and will show up tomorrow but I probably won't play it for a week or two unless my brother wants to do some of the co-op

I'd say MacRae did a pretty good job choosing where to draw the line. I certainly know people older than that who understand games as a mature subject and those much younger who don't but I think we start to see a radical change in the relative numbers of the two categories around that age.

@PoweredByHentai: The problem with your idea is that Valve isn't the only dev with a digital distribution service. Stardock has their Impulse service for one. Some don't like it as much but it's there and doing pretty well for them. D2D may not be dev based but it's a similar service. There's no way you're ever

@J France: Yes, I can quite easily see how that could happen. And, unfortunately, I've seen that very reaction on other sites. Painfully unobservant of them to have not caught that potential interpretation ahead of time. #modernwarfare2

@J France: Not to take away from how you felt about it, but if I may offer an alterative interpretation to the "if you throw grenades around you are a pussy, ergo a fag."

I have a couple commenting related questions:

@Quipp: I'd agree that many posters have been rather blase about the use of the word. I found it acceptable here because it seemed obvious to me they were vilifying those who use the word rather than encouraging them. I see now how it could look otherwise to many which is why I think it is a good idea they took it
