@Stephen Totilo: I agree that I wouldnt want visceral content encouraged if by visceral we mean crude, vulgar, or base. If, however, we are talking about visceral in the context of something that effects you on a deep or instinctual level I would very much like to encourage that. I love games that challenge me

I completely agree about the controls and really appreciate seeing an article about it. The way a game controls is the most important piece in many games and one of the top 3 elements needed to make any game successful. I'd love to see more on the topic of overlooked game mechanics and/or games with good controls I

@bobtheduck is headed to Korea: Well Bioware has said that they've designed the game so that people could play it without playing the original. I wouldnt want to start that way but I'm sure there are those who would. Beyond that, maybe EA has worked out an agreement with Microsoft so that EA can release the original

@Giggers: Ok, you say day 1 purchasers do so because they believe the game will be good enough to warrent paying full price for it, that they are essentially spending more money to play it sooner. How does day 1 DLC change the quality of the game? It doesnt. Perhaps you percieve the game as somehow being incomplete

@SurakshaNewt: That conclusion has nothing to do with common sense or logic. Either you dont know much about how games are developed or you're just obstinate. There are plenty of comments here already that explain it, mine included. If you dont care to then kindly shut up about something you couldnt be bothered to

@zgreenwell: Or you could just not buy the DLC if you dont like the idea and enjoy the over 100 hours of content you're getting.

@shades_of_blue: Why shouldnt they make money off people who buy it used? And it's not like you have to buy that content, you can play the game and be perfectly happy without it.

@qwerty: You realize they could just as easily have the DLC ready if they "split stuff off" and sit on it for a couple months. How would waiting to make it avalible change anything except in your mind?

@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: You're right, I didnt. Sorry, it was late. I still dont see why you'd think you'd miss it though since in previous DLC from them the DLC has been accessable for the majority of the game. As for the "full experiance" I dont see how a few extra side quests changes the experiance you get

@stupid_mcgee: uber pyro flaming hunter ([k]): Exactly. I think for those in need of an analogy, it would be like the Bringing Down the Sky DLC for Mass Effect. I really enjoyed it, it was totally worth the money for me, but had zero impact on the story, it was just some extra content for people who liked what

@aaronsusername: I disagree. If they can sell day 1 dlc, some companies will do it no question. Some companies still have integrity. Maybe they dont stay that way, but when they stop showing that integrity, you can stop buying from them.

@Clockw0rk: I've never heard of a developer who has ever, even after putting out DLC, produced a game as it was "intended." They always want to do more, add more, tweak this and that. If we waited till they put out the perfect game we'd be waiting forever. Eventually they have to decide that they've told the main

@Tyr4nt: Could you explain what DLC you do like? cause I loved the Fable 2 DLC and I dont see how it should have been in the original release so what you're saying doesnt make any sense at this point.

@metallicorphan: It wasnt meant as an attack on you, you should be able to reply to whatever you want but not every reply by a starred poster is something the whole community needs to know about, right? Hell, maybe just make it so the commentor can choose whether or not to promote the comment, that'd be a big step in

@j00s: The fact that stupid hyperbolic comments like this are promoted is why the comment system here is still deeply flawed.

@Ladi: Actually, people bitched about Fable 2 DLC taking too long to come out and that was less than 2 months after it was released so really there's no way for the company to make everyone happy. They decided to let people decide when they want to dl it rather than dictate when it can start. And the content might be

@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: How is that uncool? If you cant access it yet, why dont you just wait to buy it till you can access it? Is it really that hard? and how would that be any different from them releasing the DLC in a couple weeks or whatever?

@KillerBee: Aside from the points DangerousFat and Ubersoldat19 made that I completely agree with, could you not be a fucking retard and read the damned article? It says the "stone prisoner" pack, which costs $15 will be free and avalible day one to people who BUY THE GAME NEW. I wont have to pay for it because I'll

This is really simple. If you want the game but dont wanna pay for the DLC, dont buy it. You are being sold a product, that product is what comes on the disk. If that product is worth your money, buy it, if not, dont. The DLC is a seperate product that you must make the same kind of decision for. It's not that much

@Cpryd001: Completely disagree. I loved Symphonia primarily for its story. Its one of my favorite rpgs because it did it so well. It was weird as hell and fairly cliched but so are most things that are good. The only reason I want to play that game again is for the story.
