I think that the difference in our definitions of the word “fight” might explain everything. I just have managed to go most of my life here without witnessing fights at restaurants. I think you're being hyperbolic for the sake of dunking on people who most likely, live in the suburbs or the northeast, which isn't…
They existed together for parts of two seasons. Also, in that same era: The Byrd’s Nest (Paul Byrd), Millwood’s Militia (Kevin Millwood), Burrell's Babes (Pat the bat/the machine) and Thome's Homies, which was incredibly questionable from what I remember.
Are you sure it was a restaurant? Are you sure it wasn't nowhere?
I’ve lived here for my entire life. Where were all of these fights? I’ve seen fights here, but it’s interesting that you’ve seen so many of them.
I spent so many days on the R5.
I grew up during the Barros/Burton/Weatherspoon/Stackhouse era. The Sixers were wretched under Harold Katz, they didn’t deserve people’s money. People cared though, they always have.
I get that the Eagles are 1, I would argue that the Sixers generate way more buzz than the Phillies. Finally, I assume you are a wishful Flyers fan.

I'll give Oprah a pass. Bill Gates and his domestic charity are a dangerous example of a billionaire spending money in order to gain influence.
They probably both are. Epstein had connections to both, let's not turn this into a Vince Foster thing though. We on the left need to stop stooping to conservative tactics.
I think we should look at Justin Amash’s statement about leaving the Republican party closely. He said, flat out, that the party leaders keep you in line and dangle opportunities in front of you as a way to keep things moving along in the direction that the RNC/DNC have decided that they should go in. They keep things…

Yeah, I thought the same thing as you when I read that. Who did they bring back after the lockout? Kukoc? Even Jud Buechler left. It didn't just go slowly, it ceased to exist.
I love this response.
I read where David Simon said something along the lines of, in his experience, many prosecutors are in it for the win. They aren't all heartless monsters, but, again in his experience, it isn't about the victim, or justice, or an adherence to law. It's a competition and they (some, many?) want to come out on top.
They did meet Jay and Silent Bob for drinks after.
What if it was just one guy with eight guns?
I have no manbun, nor do I ever wish to own loafers. I’m recovering from Catholic school.
