I was full of joy and now I am full of reality... I hate reality.

No kidding, it’s pretty sad. I remember when I used to see their name attached to something and get excited because it would probably be something I’d like.

Yeah it’s definitely obvious the interface was designed with a mouse in mind... I know a lot of players want more ‘stuff’ added to the game but a UI overhaul is at the top of my list - assuming that other stuff can be done alongside of course. That said, I’ve been playing since launch and even though I loved it then

Me too! I think it blows the hell out of the Xbox Series X which looks like the monolith from 2001: A Space Oddassy.

Besides, I’m going to be spending my time playing it, not looking at it.

Is it just me or did that Deathloop game being put out by Bethesda look awful? The character models looked like something from a low budget ps3 game...  it really showed poorly compared to basically everything else I saw (didn’t jump in until the last 15 minutes because of work).

I had a white ps2 controller that looked disgusting after a while.... but I’ve obviously gotten a lot older since then, lol. Maybe geezer me will keep it cleaner than younger me.

Personally, I don’t care if the console is white, but the controllers... those will look nice for exactly a week.

I really doubt they’re actually developing the next GTA... GTA5 is still printing money for them, why do anything at all?

Maybe I’m just cynical and in 2027 I’ll be surprised by GTA6

Those guys are still at it!? I’m impressed!

I sorely miss the X-Wing series, but a Rogue Squadron game would be wonderful too... *sigh* those were the days.

I found the early game of Satisfactory a lot easier to figure out than Subnautica, personally. Subnautica - at least when I played it last ages ago - just kind of dropped you on a planet and then left it at that. Far too open ended for me. After crafting one or two things I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what

I’m hoping for a black option as well. White might look snazzy when you just bought it, but after some hours of gameplay it’s going to start looking awful no matter what you do - I’ve had white controllers before.

Seriously - if I thought he was arguing in good faith, I would go through the trouble of looking up the (multiple) instances of cops confiscating/destroying phones because innocent bystanders were recording/taking pictures of the evil crap they were doing.

Excellent point, especially since you can lock it independently from the rest of the phone (different password/pin, different biometrics even).

Ha! Sorry I missed that. Reading at work between other stuff, it’s inevitable sometimes. Anyway, the real take away for me is the search function in the settings app which (I think!) is universal. I have it in my Samsung and my old LG had it too. Of course, some random manufacturer might remove it for whatever reason,

So... they don’t want you taping them, but only if you’re holding your phone vertically? Do they just want to look good on the evening news when they don’t have to add weird blurred side-video when they air it?

Keep in mind that Android firmware can vary a lot... I have a Samsung phone (the most popular Android manufacturer no less) and the above steps were not repeatable for me. Easier answer is the use the search function to locate the settings described above. Some may not exist if you’re on an older version of Android

Must be one of those that thinks that any criticism of a white person is racist...

I have never before had issues with the controls even after 40 or 50 hours in a game as I have with RDR2. The number of times I tried to greet someone just to instead draw my weapon and put them down is unforgivable. Maybe, maybe that’s ok when you’re just starting a game and don’t really know all the buttons yet, but

Hispanic, straight cis male here, and exact same thing for me. Although being able to play as a character that looks like me at this point seems like something that just isn’t going to happen outside of games that have sliders for everything but inevitably render you into the speechless protagonist... but I digress.
