Nascar is a vastly different sport to any other racing out there.(In my eyes)
V8 supercars are made go go around corners (on a twisty track) so downforce is much more important as well as handling. Spoilers make cars slower in straight lines so it is not really useful in nascar
Displacement and forced induction are inherently different things so a small engine making the same power would be inherently different to this one. Superchargers are more viable with high displacement engines and give the added benefit of giving more linear power delivery. Generally smaller engines are turbocharged…
No replacement for displacement!
Holden mate
The barra is the Aussie designed 4.0 straight 6. Its a the best engine to come out of Aust and in my opinion the best straight 6 in the world (yes there is the 2jz). I don't think it would be called ecoboost though as its architecture is completely different to the newer ecoboost engines
Barra not Ecoboost
Look at FPV though they look beautiful
The FG was always better looking than the FGX... Anyway the drivetrain is ancient as well as the interior. As a ford guy I feel this is a massive disappointment. RIP GTHO
