I try to make stuff like this inspire me rather than depress me. If a 13 year old can make a damn good comic, then someone with more maturity, life experience, and general knowledge about the world should be able to pull off something decent too. Plus I’d rather she has only a 10 year head start on me than an 11 year

Glad she did this. I’m still extremely irate about Lasseter and Skydance. The man is an immediate threat to the safety of those around him; he really doesn’t have a place in public life anymore, let alone an executive position at a corporation.

Hopefully any stops removed are by specific request and not some broad algorithm that removes way way way too many stops that weren’t causing trouble.

How is QA not considered part of development staff? Are finding bugs and other errors not a priority to activision?

Fingers crossed this’ll end up on some kind of streaming service sooner than half a year later (like the first season) since I don’t have cable and definitely want to see this new season.

Oh my god it’s kind of exhilarating to see footage of a new platinum game. I could do their stuff for the rest of my life.

I’d 100% turn down that much money. I don’t need that much, and would rather see the company invest it into their workers or new projects that’ll enable further growth.

sounds like one of those things that’s so specific and rare to happen that it isn’t worth having a dedicated script just for it.

They’d succeed even more if they reduced their annual salaries AS WELL as laying off unnecessary employees.

I don’t need to be a doctor to point out that the giant bloated mass sticking out of your face is a tumor. Similarly, I don’t need to be a CEO to point out when the budget of an AA game is annually dumped in a single executive’s coffers.

Guillermo del Toro made a tweet saying the same thing. What a bonkers thing to do.

Didn’t like Melissa McCarthy’s Sean Spicer or Matt Damon’s Brett Kavanaugh?

Hopefully she and her son know that Dwayne Johnson (who obviously plays Maui) is a proud Somoan himself. But stories like yours always make me really happy, thanks for sharing.

“Until they make a slim, white, 5 o’clock shadow, unfit, Jewish game dev that makes mobile games but is also part of this elite paramilitary group that stops robots from taking over the something...”

I don’t think “incidental diversity”, as I’ll dub it, is the only “right” way to have a diverse cast. Sometimes it’s something that can be built up within the storyline and gameplay contextually.

I like how you cite marketing here, when the game’s business model is basically anti-marketing. Usually it’s par for course in this industry for me to know about an upcoming game two freaking years before its come out, and then here comes a AAA game that gets announced on the day of its release.

the first time I heard of this game’s existence was a shot of all the characters posing together and it instantly grabbed my attention. They all look badass and they each are distinct and fit together well. Will definitely have to give it a shot. I have a buddy I who I overwatch with every night (another game with

sounds like one of these descriptions hit you on the nose and you’re cranky about it.

meanwhile you got Hitman 2 which has the same disclaimer because the game is half an inch away from advocating murdering the world’s wealthy criminals (some inspired by IRL people and social/political events) when the government won’t provide justice. They really need to hammer in that it’s just satire to avoid

more like bioshock infinite looks like paris than the other way around.
