Some 150 years after his death, a man is being pardoned for helping slaves escape. Samuel Burris, a free black man, was tried and found guilty in 1847—but spared his sentence (being sold into seven years of slavery) by an anti-slavery group who bought him and freed him, after which he returned to his post on the

I’d like to know what doctor actually signed off on this.

“I see they’ve gotten to you too”

Uh, no.

The bride not being able to be there points out how truly painful it really is and somehow makes the generosity even more profound to me.

My husband did it, too. It had almost nothing to do with him and everything to do with my not wanting to see the OBGYN with a bush. I know they don’t care but it doesn’t mean I can’t.

You make a pretty excellent point.

I went to college with a gorgeous guy. Stupid gorgeous, total bohemian type (but hygenic). After a lot of hanging out and whatnot, we had a minor one-time liasion of sorts. Later, I found out he had a girl who may or may not have been a girlfriend. Years later, long after he moved away, social media brought him

“I’m genuinely going to miss him. He knew how to push everyone’s buttons, had no patience for the rigorous blandness of the perfectly calibrated reality program he found himself amongst, and clashed fabulously with Kris.”

Yes, all of his enablers, and the people who helped him accomplish his assaults, or participated in some way - including and especially his wife - are just as at fault. Dispicable.

Who gives a shit what MRAs think?

One of the saddest things about the whole thing is that a LOT of people must have known - or at least had a pretty good idea - what Cosby was doing. His managers/ assistants/ whoever was just generally around him a lot. A lot of people must have looked the other way - OR (worse) thought it was OK to do what he did.

I wonder how many comedians who have worked with him are going, “FINALLY!” Because people are seeing the real side of him. I’ve heard of comedians slipping stories to other comedians behind closed doors and back stages that he was really an awful person. A slimy, creepy jerk. But they dared not say the same thing in

more than half of Bill Cosby’s KNOWN victims

I had to leave a soul music group on Facebook because an appalling comment was posted that made fun of the allegations, which was surprisingly co-signed by a lot of members. I couldn’t calm down enough to form a rebuttal, so I just said “Can’t believe what I’m reading. I’m OUT.”

I was surprised this was on NBC. Glad, but surprised.

May I just ignore Kylie’s ridiculous relationship with Tyga for one minute to ask the really important question?

The fangirl in me is beyond excited at the prospect.

If you’re going to be involved with an older ex-con who has a kid shouldn’t he be, IDK, hot? Minus the neck tattoo Tyga looks like a dork who sat in front of me in 10th grade biology.

Take ALL my money Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff. Just make this happen.
