I was prepping to defend my masters while pregnant. I actually had my all male committee argue that I would be too stressed to get my defense ready while pregnant, and I should wait until after I had the baby. I could work on it while he was sleeping. They all have children. :O

THIS. One of my male colleagues has been vocally derisive of the idea of parental leave. Then he got prostate cancer and was out all of last semester and into this one.
