Go Australia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if the apocalypse does not come i completely agree that, which the right eye for future value, you can get for more return on a collectible car than you can a house.

QOTD: what car would you buy now to reap future millions from as a collectible?

For the off road, post apocalypse vehicle , you need one that can survive Australia:

Steep price for that car. You could have a top of the line AMG Mercedes for the same, or a hyper Audi, or Panamera... the list goes on. You look like less of a knob in the Infiniti but you also look like more of a geek, and we know the obsession-with-geeks fad with go away soon...

This should be in the Automotive misnomers: neither the price or the car are Mini.

i'd say this is a correct interpretation of the words, but i feel that some car people may feel there's a technical difference... Clutchless manual?

They're not sporty. They're not particularly utilitarian. If I could honestly say they weren't vehicles, they'd have the hat trick.

Indicators - the stalk should be on the window side of the steering wheel - so on the left for LHD and on the right for RHD. This way you can indicate whilst steering and gear changing with your gear-changing-hand

Really? i've been out of the country for too long. I knew Erebus was working on a car but i didn't think it made it in last season.

Almost as good as Australian Rules Football!!!

Yes more makes in V8 supercars please.

Booo. Way too mainstream. To much use of "World" with same meaning as Baseball "World" Series

Tidy. Completely impractical daily drive though. I mean we need to reintroduce the one that sells like hot cakes, that us Jalops can then buy second hand and turn into a Road Kart. Where's the new Fiat 500 or the Niki 650 or even a proper rear engine Beetle?
I assume it's the cost compared with simple FWD layout that

Great post. I'm pretty sure Top Gear told us all that, but it's certainly worth saying again. Curse myself if i ever buy a new car (the economy hates me).

Oh my god it's "wrong" hand drive oh me geerrrddd muue muee muee mueeeerrr

But this price is ridiculous. Buy a Supra and import a Soarer for parts, then build you LHD soarer for less - Can't drive with stick on the left because 'Murrica

THIS WAS MY FIRST CAR!! (no not that actual one, but this model Soarer). Bought it for $7500 in 2003 in Australia. Probably paid too much but it was good fun. That engine (2 litre DOHC twin-turban 6/1G-GTE) is bullet proof. You can wind a bar of boost (14.7 psi) into it and it'll probably just pop a few hoses off. A

Ah yes, Skodas of yore. So much better than the cheap Passats they are now. They said, if i was in the market for an A4 or Passat i'd probably buy the Skoda, save a few $k and go on a holiday.

The argument is astonishingly pro-amber. I am surprised but thankful. Riding a bike i depend on reading into driver's behavior in a big way. Red rear turn signals, particularly on trucks etc, have little purpose at all. Particularly because in NYC people either don't use them, or they use them to turn left across
