There’s no reason to write a comment on a four year old article, except I bought a beautiful 87 Targa last summer and it has been an absolute delight, so I just want to send my thanks to Chris for waving the 87 flag high. BTW, the 8/10 acceleration isn’t “classic” acceleration at all. It whips off the line very

It’s very hard to argue with that since I was hit by a car this past week while riding my bicycle. All the driver had to do was stop at the stop sign before leaving the shopping center and then turn her neck before darting into the street, and me.

This is the question. What is so hard about driving that you need to have an AI do it for you?

The Giulia has the ugliest front end of any car on the road. It doesn’t matter how great it is under the hood. It’s a horrorshow to look at.

And just two weeks ago my beat up but beautiful 1985 Targa was stolen out of my driveway in the middle of the night. It’s actually painful looking at these pictures now....

A few things gave it away for me. First, her performance and even her glances were timed with the drones in the background. That’s not the kind of thing you do live and hope for the best. I leased two of these M5s back to back in 2005 and 2008. This brought me right back behind the wheel. Yes, the iDrive is awful. Yes, mileage is ridiculous. And thankfully I turned them in before any serious repairs came due. But my god, that V10 screamed, and without any audio enhancement. The launch control actually

I doubt that. Good writing can only go so far, and it can’t make someone smug and unlikable come off otherwise.

The segments *look* like Top Gear, but they’re not fun, and they’re not exciting. It doesn’t matter how loud Chris Evans shouts, he’s terrible at this job. He’s smug, self-important, and watching him drive the McLaren, I kept thinking the segment would have been better with literally anybody else behind the wheel.
