It’s time to move on to new things, and I’d rather see it go to somebody who’ll appreciate it. I’m asking more for it publicly, but if any of you want it, I’d give you priority and only ask $3k or best offer.
I ran on the tires the car came with when I bought it two years ago. Ancient Kelly Charger all seasons. Grip was ATROCIOUS. It was understeer all the way down. Front end would just not hook up, I’d have the wheel cranked and the car would keep plowing straight. Someday I will invest in a second set of decent tires.…
Just a thought.
I may have cheaped out and bought a plastic tank rad, but there’s no way it can be worse than this leaky factory radiator.
Looks like I’ll have to
replace the radiator keep topping off the coolant every few days.
Met up with a bunch of Canadian Opponauts and drove some scenic roads to get some beer. Beer was good enough to be worth it.
Alright, so here she is, I got this because I’m OCD enough to garage an Integra. (if you saw how bad they rust up here, you would too.) I know it looks fairly clean, but believe me, it’s a rusty mess under the nice body. Anyway, this has the 2.4 DOHC quad 4 (Z24 engine vs the lethargic pushrod tractor engine that is…
I got lucky that this year we broke a 126 year old record for longest time without a measureable snowfall. Gives me peace to know it’s finally out of danger of having to drive in snow/salt. New (to me) winter beater will hit the streets tomorrow, stay tuned for more.
I saw this today, as a potential beater, but things have worked out so that I don’t need to find a beater anyway. Guys says he’d take $250, just wants it off his hands. It’s crispy, but all the mechanical components are solid. Really one of the best deals I’ve seen. http://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/5267823953…
Since I bought this car, the driver’s side lock has been all goofy and would only lock with a very specific combination of power locks/flipping it over. Now, it’s gotten to where the key won’t unlock it from the outside and you have to open the trunk, which engages the power locks, to get the door open. So I decided…
Definitely could use improvement, but it’s been a learning experience. Bike is an old 1970s Sears model I garbage picked. Even came with intact tires!
Now, before you jump on me for having a 12 second 0-60, keep in mind I was just screwing around, and decided to see how slow of a run we could put up. (4 people in the car, windows/sunroof open, AC cranked, etc...) 0-60 is realistically around 10-ish seconds because the car’s old and has lost some power (and hence…
Found this on some Honda forums, just think it’s such a perfect execution. Especially for a car that’s so often done up in poor taste.
Here’s some gratuitous burnout action
Of course it’s in Florida.
Well, it made it .4 miles!
