Hate to disagree with ya mate but pure ethanol actually sits at around 120 ron-ish and about 100 mon creating about a AKI 110. But again that is pure legit ethanol
It is not really “cutting” the gasoline with ethanol its more of spiking it. You see the gas stations do not add ethanol to their tanks it is the refineries. They make about an 85 ron and an 82 mon and add 10% of ethanol to make it an 87 AKI. Cutting would imply weakening not strengthing.
