Absolute nonsense but thanks. Dude.

This! But I said ‘MS needs to step up their game’ a few weeks ago and xbox owners lost their shit. And I’m a xbox owner.

How can you say that the xbox left stick is the most natural placement but not the right?

Exactly.

I think you’re being wildly optimistic. Nearly everyone in Washington has something sketchy in their closet. It’s practically a prerequisite to become a politician.

Good read but I find Davidson’s faith in the justice system, politicians and people in general a little perplexing.

They are not moving art, they are beautifully designed and engineered mass-produced vehicles and if you bought a Picasso you could do whatever you want to it.

Hey kindred

All in all it’s a pointless exercise to compare the industries except as an arbitrary line to show business it good.

The VR aspect is very interesting. PSVR has sold more than Oculus and Vive combined so how do Sony evaluate success? Wipeout, Skyrim, Moss and GT4 have been very well received and it feels like developers have got their heads around the limitations.

Are you talking about me?

I think double the sales would be considered a massive success (or ‘killing it’ in todays parlance).

They could push pop-culture more to become less reliant on game revenue and even if they’re selling game codes (rather than disks) people will continue to buy tangible goods as presents. That said, their brand and brand name is increasingly irrelevant.

And don’t get me started on the fucking zombies.

Exactly!

Counterpoint - it’s starts out a mess and I hope it gets easier.

I kinda disagree. This comment pops up all the time but while budgets have certainly grown we need to consider that the user-base has exploded. The gaming industry dwarfs film and music industries combined.

This is the crux of it for me. These guys say they’re law abiding and being discriminated against. When in fact it’s just their jacket is banned from the hotel.

‘slash prices on digital goods’

I had a similar, if whiter, upbringing and i’m surprised you missed the most common trait in Christianity. Absolute hypocrisy and intolerance.
