Word to your entire post. I was looking forward to the show going deeper into the whole colonialism/Imperialism aspects in this season, but they have completely screwed it up because they made "our heroes" (as Rothenberg refers to them) commit mass murder based on xenophobic and imperialistic reasoning and motivation.

That has always been a bit of a reach to me especially considering how much they disliked each other back then. That scene happened on the heels of Bellamy being busted for massively lying and manipulating everyone for his own selfish needs and causing 320 people to die.
