How about instead of the timing being 2 weeks after the start of the season, it’s more like 2 months or maybe 3 months? Then teams would really have to be obviously tanking in order to not have a player of that caliber up. And tanking teams should be dealt with separate of this argument.

I used to watch tennis all the time (mostly back in the MacEnroe / Navratralova days). Now I only watch on occassion...but when I do, MacEnroe is almost always on the call. I don’t recall ever hearing Martina (though I realize she obviously does call matches). Point being...to me, he’s a much more sought after draw

He would have actually pulled it off had he not started heaving up 3's from 10 feet outside the 3-point line with a three point lead in overtime. That was just dumb! But yeah, he was pretty awesome aside from that so I guess I’ll give him a pass on those ill-advised bricks.

Well if they saw the video and did nothing...then F them to hell! I don’t think that’s the case here though...and considering the whole case got dismissed, what’s a team supposed to do - fire everyone who is ever even accused of something? Not sure the burden is on them in this one.

Yeah what the fuck is that? The 1 in a million time domestic abuse is actually caught on camera...and that’s it?!! Awful!

Comparing the OJ murders to the deaths of Michael Brown or Eric Garner, while I guess is what makes your weak point here and gets you clicks, is pretty disgusting! Cops who killed someone in self-defense (even if an over-reaction) or because they put them in a chokehold (no matter how stupid & unnecessary that it

Because I know everyone here really cares about my fantasy team...if Karlsson were to go to Tampa...I’d win my fantasy league! His +/- is killing me right now!

Stop objectifying men would ya!

While I agree the Reebok deal was awful...I can’t name a single person of relevance who has left the UFC. EVERY single person I can think of that left was either washed up or couldn’t beat the people in their own division so went to cash in somewhere else.

He may suck...but I feel his pain. There’s a Taco Bell by me and I swear the drive thru has gotten my order wrong 19 of the last 20 times I’ve gone there. Like half those times I dind’t find out til I got home...so at least I’m smart enough now to pull around, check and then utlimatly get out, get my kid out of his

Minnesota girls are super hot...so yes!

Get off your high horse...he’s saying that just like any smart PR professional does, you weigh the timing of what you’re doing against what else is happening that week, that day, etc. It’s why Tuesdays are often chosen for product launches, etc. - becuase not much is going on and the press turnout will be better.

Couldn’t agree more. Granted I’m a Blues fan and would gladly take their next few years of shittiness for all the success they’ve had!

Yeah but the Blackhawks are still in LAST place! And that goal was fine...nice even...but probabably not story-worthy from a game featuring two cellar dwellars.

Not “almost certainly”...just “certainly” or “absolutely” - he’s a two-time proven cheater! It’s like how Bonds’ steroid use was called alleged use for like 5 years after he admitted it in court.

I know everyone likes to use LaRussa as the beneficiary and enabler of roids...but I’m not certain he knew what was going on. I mean he’s at least probably guilty of turning a blind eye or not being aware enough of what was happening in his own clubhouse...but the way he backed Big Mac and was so embarrassed and

You’re right they shouldn’t...but at the same time, if you got caught then I don’t mind it. A-roid, Manny, Braun should all follow suit!

Yes, steroids and HGH are worse than amphetamines. Don’t get me wrong, these guys probably belong in and they’ll get in...but them being made an example of in the meantime is probably pretty well deserved. HGH has SO many benefits that aided Bonds. Greenies, etc. helped guys rebound and play the next day...but the

The fumble was terrible and there’s an easy way to fix that shit. Simply let plays play out if there’s any chance that they should. What would be wrong with letting that guy run down the field for a TD? If you go back and see he was down by contact, then so be it...at least you don’t wrongly affect the course of the

I thought the intentional grounding call was horrible. Not only was he outside the tackles (or at least right on the line - in which case you should let it go), but he was getting hit. It’s not like he threw it straight into the ground...had he not gotten hit, the ball would’ve been in the vicinity of a receiver.
