STAR WARS: THE LOOT BOX JEDI

Glad they didn’t relent in their strike and mostly got what they wanted. That’s a big win for voice actors who really are the backbone of some amazing games.

I’ve heard some intriguing rumors about what might occur in the first episode which I won’t go into here.

“Just because I made all those antisemitic jokes then doesn’t make me a racist piece of garbage. I’ll probably stop for a little while because I feel *wink* bad about what happened *wink*.”

I should have added “IMHO” in there somewhere. Too late! ;)

This is why the whole “world building is hard” excuse doesn’t wash. It’s set a decade before the events of the original show. There’s 50 years of lore they can draw from and from what I’ve seen so far they’ve decided to go “Nah, we’ll do our own thing instead because reasons.”

The EDF games are like Ishiro Honda fever dreams adapted into video game form and they are endlessly entertaining.

I got hooked on SK with SHINOVI VERSUS on the Vita and was surprised that under that shapely veneer was a fun cast of characters and a great combat system to boot. I played a bit of EV today on the PS4, which looks great by the way, and had a blast. SK is pure bouncy fun with a lot of asskicking. Nothing more, nothing…

The EDF games (Sandlot’s entries not that failed American spinoff) are pure blissful bug blasting joy. As a fan of Japanese sci-fi/kaiju movies and tokusatsu shows like Ultraman it’s amazing that a game encapsulates all of that into one entertaining package with great gameplay.
