Wow, sounds like the same guy I’ve encountered. Yes, please mansplain to me how I should bask in the glow of any attention given to me by a man, whether unwanted or not. Then dick has the nerve to call me a fat bitch when I don’t graciously accept his offer of a drink after my friends and I try to ignore his rant. Get

Sorry kids, you have to be an attractive woman with painful fillers in her upper lip with a husband 20 years her senior to get this flight.

a bargain at twice the price, really.

counterpoint: private bathroom

What the fuck did we ever do to you??

I think these are the ones you’re referring to.

Bella’s feet look RED and painful! You are definitely not the only one who wishes orthopedics would come back into fashion.

Actually, Gore lost because the Supreme Court stopped the recount that would have showed Gore won Florida. We weren’t allowed to talk about that after the September 11th attacks, but that’s the truth.

So, Ralph Nader had a choice: he could have told his supporters in Florida to vote for Gore and essentially give the election to Gore, or he could have done nothing and open it up to Bush winning. Even if Gore should have been a better candidate, Nader personally had the power to decide if the president was going to

Yeah, Gore needed more votes, but Nader was a complete douchenoozle about it. Nader explicitly campaigned in swing states. I would have voted for him because I don’t live in a swing state, but I didn’t because I thought he was actively trying to throw the race to W.

That just ignores the facts of the 2000 election. With 550 more votes in Florida Gore would have taken that state and the election. Nader gathered 97,000 votes in Florida. If you think that somehow Gore wouldn’t have gotten the 550 he needed to win Florida without Nader’s vanity campaign then you are fooling yourself.

I like your spirit. I also like the idea of having a shot in hell of a more liberal leaning judge being named to the SCOTUS. Ergo, fuck all that.

Gore won the popular vote, homie.

This is a reasonable and correct take and has no place in Kinja.

I’m fine with Bernie staying in the race to accumulate votes and show Democrats that there is broad, national support for a progressive agenda. I am not alright with him staying in the race in a desperate bid to win.

Does it honestly not bother you that Bernie supporters are sending death threats to a woman who, as far as I can tell, was just doing her job? I get wanting to have positive coverage of your preferred candidate, but any coverage of the event that leaves out the booing and death threats is still pretty slanted - it’s

I mean, you fuck one goat and they call you a goat fucker.

I am not painting *you* as anything. I am also, in my way, as I mentioned up top, “a woman who supports Bernie,” although as a journalist I don’t throw my arms around any politician entirely and never will.

Some neighbors in the area, Local Memphis writes, are wondering why the young girl was out so late at night with her mother

Uhh saying she should seek professional help suggests that these things only happen with people who aren’t getting help. That’s pretty condescending to the tons of people who have attempted suicide/run off/had episodes/disassociated/etc. while getting help/treatment. And the “it works” is also condescending because
