That and plenty of other bands have explicit riders having to do with feeding crew, and other matters such as technical details. Given what a pain in the ass touring is, they'd want to make sure everything is safe and the way the venue says it's going to be.

A lot of time these riders are so the band knows the venue is paying attention to other things in the contract that are more important. And let the guy eat whatever he wants.
