When I saw that there was one comment on this story I knew it was already far too late for me.

The show is so god awful that even though its over 30 years old, it still resonates with audiences today. I get that it has pacing issues, but people love the damn show.

Come on, the story is awesome. The anime had pacing issues, but tha manga still told an awesome and exciting story. Don’t criticize the story, there’s a reason why people around the whole frickin’ world loves it.

Yes whitesplain another country's media for us please.

I quit because Destiny was the worst part time job I’ve ever had.

Get Gun”

Nobody made friends along the way, Destiny community was annoyed the whole time.

Actual player of the game with his laminated D1 Alpha clearance badge here... and Jaqen’s right. I’m not salty about the result, but it is what it is in the content-light era of battle-pass Destiny. Un-engaging busywork to pad streamer-time and community life support while we wait for the fall expansion.

Bungie’s MO has been overpromising and underdelivering since Destiny came out, this should surprise no one nor should it disappoint

I think we all knew this was going to be the outcome.

Mannnnnn I remember when that fancy Armory expansion dropped. Me and my homie logged on, stoked to see some new stuff. First quest? “Go to the place you’ve been a bazillion times and get 100 heavy kills” uuuuugggghhhhhh *log off*

This is definitely an annoyance I have. Even to unlock a piece of story content they lock it behind some stupid grindy task. Just let me do the missions! If that’s all I want out of a season let me have that and not have to do a bunch of other dumb stuff I don’t want to do.

Everyone saw that coming a mile away

Yep, that’s what I figured, even said as much in a comment on the previous article about said puzzle and was immediately met with comments (which I dismissed) calling me an idiot and/or saying this quest and Bastion were “completely unrelated”.

It’s not rocket science, kids, you play Destiny long enough and you come to

That is what I was thinking. “Destiny does something that could be cool in theory, but executes it poorly and makes it less interesting” is the summary of most of the articles I see about the game.

Well, isn’t that par for the course with this franchise by now?

I wouldn’t worry, that comment is safe. Unlike yours which I didn’t like.

Bungie claimed this is a “marathon” huh. Have people considered the answer is time-gated? (haha get it.)

Bingo. Also, cannot wait for the salt when the reward for this is underwhelming as hell (I’m guessing it’ll open up the quest for Bastion for the community, similar to how the world’s first clear of Last Wish started the Dreaming City curse/new strike)

Being “rewarded” with a chance to win gifts from a raffle system where tickets are “paid” via mandatory extra hours is the premise of a Black Mirror episode that has yet to be written.
