It looks more like if that awful live action Dragon Ball Z movie had Goku turn Super Saiyan. (Which he might have, I haven’t seen it.)

It absolutely is not. 

What I expected and what they should have done are two different things.

I’m sorry to be the one to break it to you, but anime is cartoons.

I feel like I’m the only person who thinks the art style for this game sucks. The original game had a lot of fairly cartoony elements to it that they’re not just turning into weird realistic looking characters doing cosplay and hanging out with photoshopped dogs. 

Keighley is more of a fixture at E3 than any specific developer or publisher. E3 is going to be depressing this year.

He’s pretty awful.

Thank god. Maybe Anthem won’t be a glitchy mess when all is said and done, which is more than we can ever hope for No Man’s Sky after another half dozen revisions.

I don’t even know how playable it is with its current audience. If there are enough people playing it now to get you through the campaign without having to matchmake for 20 minutes for each story mission, it’s absolutely worth the $5 or whatever it costs now to play through the campaign and then quit because the…

Destiny 2 started OK, then got really good for about five minutes a year and a half ago and then shat the bed.

There’s taking heavy inspiration from a game and using that to make a new game in that genre, and then there’s this Chinatown knockoff.

Yuuuup. This is why “seasons” are bullshit.

The engine is like 80% of the problem.

The moment to moment gameplay of Anthem was super fun and I liked the world, even though the story felt like a pilot episode of a series. Most of the important things around that core gameplay were kind of crappy, though.

I’m playing Octopath Traveler and my side goal is to rob every NPC completely blind by the end of the game. I want to be level 100 and have every single thing anyone has ever had in their pockets. So far so good.

The first game had a great localization. Treehouse really killed it with the writing. Last Window didn’t have Treehouse because it didn’t come out in North America and it really shows. It’s still a good story but the dialogue and narration leave something to be desired.

Again was so bad.

Also “Watching this person who doesn’t know or care about me and is mostly only affable so I’ll give them money feels like hanging out with a friend” is creepy as fuck.

And if you ever want to do it after that first month?
