Because bringing him in at the last second after barely mentioning he exists at all, in a game that already has a villain who has already been destroying you for the entire game, is bad storytelling. It’s fanservice bullshit. Either make a game where Vader is the villain or don’t. Having it both ways is cheap…

Because he was barely mentioned and it was super stupid when he just showed up and took over as the villain when there already was a villain for the whole game.

It’s the climax of the game, but it happens so randomly and so stupidly that you’re honestly not missing much of value if you know Vader is in it. He probably shouldn’t have been in it in the first place. 

“I’m willing to wait until you’re ready to have sex” doesn’t and can’t mean “I’ll die a virgin if that’s what you want from me.”

Do you have the collection on PC? It’s the same one, minus some of the games. It runs fine and has some good features (rewind, fast forward, quick save) so if some great Genesis games + portability is appealing to you, it’s definitely worth it.

Chrono Trigger was a bad prequel, but a great game.

The difficulty curve is backwards. It starts out as hard as it’s ever going to be and gets easier and easier until the end of the game when I was literally teleporting from enemy to enemy decapitating them. It was a fun power trip for a while but it was super shallow.

The parallels between this game and Shadow of Mordor are really something. Both games that mostly just take a bunch of things that work in other games and mash them together, do some things really well, do other things really poorly that mostly get overlooked, and get Game of the Year awards because OH MY GOD finally…

I guess if you super love lightsabers and just stop moving to star at yours just hanging from your hip you can see the details. For the rest of us, it’s just sort of there.

This is a big problem with this game and I wish the reviews hadn’t mostly overlooked it. A new colour for your ugly poncho or a new 1/8 of a lightsaber hilt you can barely see when you’re not actively modifying it on the ship do not make for good secrets.

At this point I’d settle for a story that doesn’t take place entirely off-screen and some HM moves so every area isn’t 100% explored the first time you visit it.

I’ve bought a lot of games and never played them but this could be the first time I buy one, never play it, and then miss my chance.
