I feel really bad for you if you’ve never played any of the millions of games that are not grinds.
Calm down.
Fire Emblem is the only competition for Death Stranding for GOTY in my head.
I mean, it is if half the scores are 100 and half the scores are 60
Oh no, what about The Game Awards’... well, I was going to say “integrity” but that’s not it. They nominated a Star WArs game that wasn’t even out yet for Game of the Year one year.
I’m not any more, I quit in the Season of the Forge when they added nothing of value and just gave me a bunch of hoops to jump through to gain access to a bland new horde mode.
I didn’t say to take it away. If people want to keep doing the same boring-ass content over and over and over again to make the numbers go up in what is by far the worst level system I’ve ever experienced in a video game, go for it, they’re not hurting anybody and they’re probably even saving themselves money by…
My partner ended up watching me play through all of Death Stranding and he was super into it so now we’re going to play the Metal Gear Solid games together.

I love it, it’s so useless and it only works sometimes
Just so you know, this “silent majority” bullshit is what social conservatives use to defend their horrible beliefs.
I finished it today and it’s even worse and more barebones than I thought it was going to be so maybe not.
When my Rapidash uses several moves, it moves its head a little and literally freezes in place until the move is over. It has a long flowing mane that stops moving like it’s made of stone. The animations are bad.
But he’s also right to point out that it’s impossible for Gamefreaks to provide every single Pokémon, every single fan favorite mechanic, while also making an experience akin to BOTW. It’s just not going to happen.
