It's just different. Cars are not reliable in extreme cold temperatures. Where I am, north of Edmonton, Alberta, many people need to plug in their cars to an electrical outlet even when they go into work or it won't work when they get off. It's not like that all the time though.
Waiting in the cold sucks though.

Okay. :-)

Show's what you know! The car needs to be plugged in to a block heater that makes sure the engine is warm enough to even start the car. If it is waaay too cold, (anything below -20C) automatic start won't start the car but just juice the battery and then the car needs to be boosted. I actually never really thought

I just got this for my birthday/Xmas!
I have been asking for one for 2 years. It is wonderful. But pricey. I do think that they are overpriced and there are some brands that are similar for a couple hundred less,,,but still, very happy. The real fur hood also makes a HUGE difference.

This drives me NUTS. So, it's super cold out, I dress for it, get to work and it's too fucking hot! It's hotter in the building that it is in summer.
The same thing goes for summer, wear summer clothes, go to work, freeze in air conditioning.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? Keep the temperature according to the

I am an expert on this! I live in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada. And this kind of weather is common - although the way people love to bitch about the weather, you wouldn't know.
My best advice is investing in a DOWN PARKA. Nothing beats down - it is objectively, scientifically, the absolute warmest filler for any jacket.

Oh, come on. Have a sense of humor. It's true, we do get a chuckle out of people who live in much warmer places freaking out about snow or cold. I get it, you don't have the infrastructure for it and it's different. Up north though, it's normal. Things never close down, no matter how cold it gets. People really do run

It's true how silly they sound when living up north. I plug my car in when it gets below -10C. We had a bought of -30C for a week or so a couple weeks ago and it kicked my ass so bad that when it was -15C, it didn't feel that cold.

You know, I would just put them in the washer soak cycle with vinegar and a bit of detergent, then wash on delicate and then on a really low setting on the dryer. I do this with all my sneakers, coats and boots. It actually works out fine.
I just think that the only thing that gets stuff clean is good old soap and

YES. I LOVE THIS AND DO IT EVERY DAY. It even soothes every kind of sickness and ache and pain.

I've been here for years. I've read many, many of the articles. I think some of the criticism is just because some readers have decided they hate him. Many of the authors, including well loved ones, have said offensive things.
I still think your comment was mean and disrespectful. There was no reason to bring up

I think your comments are really cruel, and I think they need to be moderated.

Slow news day?
Seriously, this is so stupid and gross.

Shhh! Don't let anyone know I can't spell.

So, what is OLD then? 25?
Can we stop calling anyone that isn't a fucking teenager old now?
While we are at it, can we stop looking towards a teenager for what's cool and trending?

I conquer. At the ripe age of 31 I don't give a shit what the teens like. They have terrible taste.

Planet Earth is the perfect hangover show on the couch with friends. So soothing.
Honorable mention: Too Cute

It's cruel and unnessesary.

You guys, be nicer to your partners when they are sick. They don't feel well! They are NOT faking it! Just give them some sympathy (free and easy) and make them some grill cheese and give them a blanky or leave them alone. Your suposed to love each other and that includes when they are being a whiney baby.
