It’s too bad that they have made those restrictions religious clothing in public spaces. I do think it is important to distinguish between a niqab and a hijab in a public space though. There is nothing inherently wrong about a niqab, but it isn’t exactly ideal for facial identification. It’s too bad there isn’t a way

If Muslim women aren’t permitted to wear head coverings that only cover their hair and not their faces, I would be doubtful men would be permitted to wear a Dastaar.

I don’t see my Sikh men wouldn’t be allowed to wear their Kara. I doubt they would be allowed to carry a kirpan though.

You are correct, she did not write the first article, Jessica Coen did. Than Jane Marie wrote the second like an indignant toddler having a fit over the keyboard (very classily filed to “go fuck yourselves”).

That neck tattoo article was seeping with entitlement. I really disliked her attempt to malign the artist and his work.

I forgot about the second baby on a plane article. That was the worst. It was like listening to a toddler having a temper tantrum.

I agree. She produced a number of thought provoking articles on client vs. artist, babies on the plane, and vaginoplasty but was not able to tolerate negative criticism. Her articles were often written suggesting this attitude as well (mocking the tattoos the tattoo artist was willing to preform instead of her own.)

I would be far more comfortable with Seth Rogen being on this list than Seth MacFarlane. He is a much better Seth.

Re: Jesse Williams

Thank You. I’m not the target demographic for this article, but even I know that guy is NOT “the sexiest man alive.”

The second sentence of your comment made me laugh (even it sounds a tad biphobic). There is some truth to it though - I cannot think of any (out) bisexuals I know that have dated other (out) bisexuals. None of the potential male/male, male/female, and female/female pairings. I don’t know what the numbers are on

Yes, I already have freckles. I do not think all people can have freckles, but I do think some people have freckles that only appear during brighter months. Freckles near the nose and under the eyes seem to be quite common in that scenario.

My freckles do darken with more sun exposure.

I dislike mine as well. I have freckles under my eyes and a small grouping next to my lip. They form a small cruciform. I have an even skin tone, and I do not get blemishes (I did have terrible psoriases on my joints between the ages of 9 and 12).

It’s very frustrating that the negative narratives are the only ones discussed in regards to relationships between lesbians and bisexuals. There are lots of great relationships between lesbians and bisexuals, but I think people like being cynical and exclusionary to a certain degree. There is a lot of misunderstanding

There should be a distinction made between “fearing being left for the opposite sex” and “fearing being left for the opposite sex than discussed as a cocktail anecdote.”* I don’t want to be discussed by a woman I dated as a representation of her scandalous behaviour before dating men or marrying men.

It is true, there are a large amount of negative attitudes towards bisexual women in the lesbian community. The traditional “she’s just in university”, “she’s just doing it to impress her boyfriend”, and “she’ll date women until she wants a baby” also come to mind.

I thought her pubic hair was rather sparse (for someone who has repeatedly posted about growing out her body hair).

I’m not a professional photographer, but I was an art history major.

Commenting on Jezebel can be like walking on glass; my apologies.
