The problem is when the season arc simply doesn't have enough substance to fill enough episodes and the plot ends up moving so staggeringly slowly. Compare how little plot The Flash,/i> has actually progressed through this year to Agents of SHIELD, which I don't think has had any filler/procedural episodes at all this

One of my favourite Benoist scenes is still from Season 1, Episode 8 I think, where Kara confronts her mother's avatar over lying to her about Astra as a child. She breaks my damn heart in that scene.

I've enjoyed this show a lot so far but this was such a frustrating episode to watch. Oh wow, that is a hell of a spot. I wouldn't put it past the writers of this show.

If that dress is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I remember watching this show so much when it was on. It was definitely never objectively "good" and it's certainly not aged well, but sometimes some silly, camp fun with some generally entertaining leads that isn't afraid to laugh at itself sometimes is what you feel like watching.
