You’re exactly right, but is it normal for people to pay close attention to the weapons that other players are using? I’m usually a lot more concerned with my own performance than scoping out the weapons that the best players are using. I guess I might be in the minority there, though.

I take it you mean this one? It’s a damn fine collection, arguably better than the one here (no Mortal Kombat, unfortunately, but you do get the Ecco games and Streets of Rage series). It sucks that none of these collections have Gunstar Heroes or Flashback, though https://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Ultimate-Genesis-Collecti

I stand corrected! I just remember my dad being really mad when they changed it up.

I think it was the original in S1, and they went with the cover after that. Don’t ask me how I remember that.

I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with more items in one of these lists. I love the opening for OITNB, The Wire, The Sopranos, Firefly, and The Leftovers S2 (ESPECIALLY The Leftovers S2). Even Justified’s theme and New Girl’s opening (well, the short version from seasons 2-4) grew on me. I can’t imagine skipping over

One of these people was insulting a woman in a blockbuster movie for being unattractive. One was a sexual abuse victim who was fighting back against people who perpetuated sexual abuse. I mean, yeah, there was censorship involved in both cases, but can you see how this isn’t exactly apples-to-apples?

I think it’s a smart way to go about it. It’s not airing with the shooting scene, so people can’t just stumble onto it while channel surfing and anybody who feels like they’re not ready to see it can easily watch the show without seeing the more offensive content. But for people who want to see the episode as

Glad to see all the love for The Information. Totally underrated album, and probably his last GREAT release.

He’s the Guillermo del Toro of TV!

This happened to me at an IMAX in an AMC with the premiere of The Dark Knight. Somebody pulled the fire alarm right before the batmobile chase scene (while a burning firetruck was onscreen), and they couldn’t continue the movie without rebooting the whole thing...so they kicked us all out and gave us free tickets for

But they are legal, and I’ve seen plenty of people continue to argue that they should be legal. When I suggested to somebody on Facebook that anything that can make a weapon behave like an automatic should be illegal, he scoffed and said that a semi-auto with a bump stock was comparable to putting a spoiler on a Honda

Okay, I know Megyn Kelly is the worst and this is a very serious subject, but while we’re on the subject of Santa’s ethnicity, are we not going to at least acknowledge how hilariously Santa-like the audience member in this clip looks?

The best thing about your comment is you’re not even being facetious. She literally becomes a cosmic USB drive.

That movie is so fucking bad. I went in expecting it to be a big dumb action movie, but it doesn’t even satisfy on that level. It seriously thinks it has something deep to say about human potential and leans

Here’s an open question to anybody more anime-literate than I am: is there a reason why, when people recommend anime, they tend to be series and movies that released in the early-aughts? That’s when I was in high school, and I did watch (and enjoy) Cowboy Bebop, Spirited Away, Ghost in the Shell, Evangelion, Trigun,

You make a good point, and the difference is even more extreme when it comes to VR. Not only are the other headsets more expensive, but they require a much more costly piece of gaming hardware (a relatively high-end gaming PC) to run.

They’re also a much bigger pain in the ass to deal with. I picked up an Oculus Rift

I loved the first Kingsman, but everything about the sequel feels like a cynical way to turn it into a franchise. They bring back a character who REALLY needed to stay dead for it to have stakes, they kill off a bunch of characters for shock value, they turn a one-note-joke character from the original film into a

It’s an incomplete game, but what’s there is sort of a flawed masterpiece. It’s 100% worth playing.

Battlefront sold well, but died quickly. I picked it up on PC in December, and finding a playable match online was already nearly impossible.

Just curious: are you married? And do you have a kid? Because the things you’re describing as not difficult, you’re also saying are like “herding cats” and require significant amounts of planning and rescheduling even to get 30 minutes in. Just that amount of coordination is difficult if you have a family AND a
