I haven't played Persona 5 yet, but holy shit does Nier: Automata have a lot to talk about.

I always thought he was more of a Mad King, since he's clearly losing his mind, doesn't trust anybody around him, and would rather burn everybody he's supposed to protect than admit defeat.

Honestly, I just really like the way that Bungie-FPSs feel on consoles. I’m sure that it plays just fine on PC, and I’ve got a rig with a GTX 1080, but if I get Destiny 2, I’ll probably stick with PS4 because I like the way it plays.

My dad had that tape in his office, and I didn't really get what it was until I was much older and was familiar with more of Twin Peaks than just its theme song. Also, I'm 30.

I'm fairly certain that this is WHY he accepted it wasn't going to happen. The online poll and meeting-of-minds thing that happened with him, Mignola, and Perlman was likely a response to the word that the studio was considering a reboot. What's less clear is whether Mignola was overturned by the studio, or decided to

On the other hand, if it means we don’t have to buy the same game again less than a year later to get the extra characters like with UMvC3, it might be a plus.

I stopped watching after S2, and even I'm confused to see that.

Oh God, people think Horizon is SHORT?! Granted, I did just about everything there was to do in it (all side quests, Golden Suns at the hunting grounds, found every single collectible), but I think it added up to something like 55 hours. I’m actually a little tired of every single game having to be this massive,

It's crazy how different Disney games were on the SNES and Genesis. I prefer the Genesis Aladdin, FWIW.

Especially since he doesn't do a damn thing that helps his dad. Bigfoot saves him, and since Bigfoot warned the kid to begin with, the entire plot of the movie is irrelevant.

It sure would be hard on Nintendo if people paid them money to play NES games instead of paying them money to play NES games.

It will. Following the comics, this season was exactly what I expected it to be: half a season of cowering to Negan, and half a season of coming together. Next season should be more eventful, although a series of repeat conflicts could get old too.

My favorite thing about this episode: the decision to let a tiger loose in an unfamiliar environment with a bunch of relative strangers and trust it to target and kill all the bad guys. Somehow in the world of The Walking Dead, this is a good idea.

Agreed. The weapon/equipment switching seems tailor-designed for the gamepad, and the way that they handle it with the d-pad mid-combat seems like an awkward concession. I can see why they wouldn't want the Wii U version to have "exclusive" features, though.

Is it just me, or does it sound like this is Verbinski's alternative to doing Bioshock, after his demand for an R rating fell through? Atmospheric body horror, parable about capitalist greed…

I'm honestly not sure whether I agree with your take or not, which is probably just further indication that the characterization in these movies is fucked.

But you could at least have a decent, functional movie with a downer of a tone. The character failures in Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, and (to a lesser degree) Man of Steel are what really sink them. It's not just weak, it's clear that the writers, especially David Goyer, don't even care.

Pacing is so underrated in games, but it really is one of the most important differentiators between a good game and a great one. It's the key reason why Uncharted 2 is one of the best games of all time. There's an art to predicting exactly how the player is going to feel during a sequence, how long to hold onto that,

It's not just this petition that's broken. I've tried signing 3 different ones, and none of them are tallying signatures. It's sketchy as fuck, and I don't know why nobody has reported it.

It somehow didn't hit me until the end that it was a direct parody of Matchstick Men, because it's totally, perfectly in character.
