Non-comic reader here. I'm a big fan of the show and this episode. Other than my wife, I don't know any other fans to discuss the show with, so here are some of my stray thoughts, Internet:

I missed Linderman middle school. Maybe the Company has some deep ties with the town or maybe it's just a wink at fans.

I was a superfan of the original series and watched until the bitter end. There was just so much squandered potential. There were a lot of turds, but they came very close to greatness in more than a few episodes. So I was excited about the reboot - hoping that they had learned from their mistakes.
