On the face of it, I get the JLR/BMW tie up, but it just seems... weird. JLR is a weird mishmash of legacy Ford hardware and newer self-developed stuff (Ingenium - which I guess a whole family of those engines isn’t happening now given the alleged powertrain partnership).

Uh, the DB5 was designed by Touring Superleggera as was the Disco Volante. The Jensen Interceptor was designed by Vignale. Some of the cars up there are Bertone - the Cizeta and Diablo were independently designed by Gandini and not Bertone.

GM is gradually returning to its shitty old ways pre-recession. Just seems like the last 3 years of products (Corvette aside - though I do have my reservations about C8) and general design language/build quality has been generally awful.

Cher has a better chance of getting elected president than a new 2 door WRX STI.  I just don’t see it as feasible, especially since coupes just don’t sell anymore (that aren’t muscle or GT cars).

It’s oddly ‘blocky’ and that front end is weirdly bulbous.  Very different from the curvaceous CX-30 and CX-5.  I’m not sure this design language works too well here - it lacks cohesiveness somehow.

Absolutely the poorest judgment of anyone I’ve ever seen operating a motor vehicle. He even had the gall to ignore deliberately visiting a local Moto Guzzi dealer.  Stupid.

Agreed, the XJ was the only one with a decent interior.  I rented an F-Type last year and thought the interior was awful for a $72,000 MSRP vehicle.
